"Go get em, tiger!"
This year is a mega-challenge! I will be going against all sound advice and will be trying to complete 2 marathons within 2 weeks of each other. The first is an uber hike of 26.2 miles (really 24 but I'll add onto the end to round it out) with 10K vertical feet of climbing. The Great Range Traverse is a part of a group of friend's adventure we call Sufferfest, will occur on October 6th and will offer a huge challenge for the legs as well as the spirit and will hopefully be completed in 13-14 hours! https://sufferfest.net/great-range-traverse-2018/
Two weeks later, on October 20th, I will be "running" with the Run for RPEMS team in the Baltimore Marathon as we raise money to improve the educational experience for our students. This year we are Sprinting for the School Yard to raise money to transform outdoor areas at the school into top notch learning spaces so that our students can reap the benefits of an outdoor classroom environment.
Roland Park Elementary Middle School serves a diverse student population from all over the City of Baltimore. Amidst more than a decade of chronic underfunding of Baltimore Schools, we have stepped up to raise funds to ensure that our students have access to educational opportunities that will expand their horizons.
Giving online is easy and fast and all donations are 100% tax deductible. Your support will make a real difference in the lives of our students. I appreciate your help!
